A new Australian-made corrugated cardboard product invented by a local businessman is now available for use by patrons at outdoor events.
The Bum Box is light, durable and 100% recyclable. It collapses for easy carrying then folds out to create an instant seat that moulds to your body shape.
Brainchild of Sydney husband and wife business team
John and Carol Smith,
The Bum Box is a brand new product to help you enjoy the summer line-up of outdoor events around the country.
First to take advantage of
The Bum Box’s advertising potential is Manly’s own seven-time World Surfing Champion,
Layne Beachley . She is busy promoting her new Beachley Athletic brand of clothing at her own ASP tournament at Queenscliff this week – the
NAB Beachley Classic .
"
The Bum Box is light to carry, comfortable to sit on and gives fans real back support while they watch every contest" Beachley said. "The potential for saturation advertising on thousands of seats at major events on the large cardboard backing is far better than signage around stages or even whole sports grounds… you just can’t avoid seeing the sponsor’s message and logo"
The Smiths have turned to Manly marketing agency,
Vida, to help promote their new product and significant interest has already been shown by several major brands. Arriving just in time for the summer festival season, the Smiths are offering event organisers a special offer to spread the word about their new product.
Anyone placing an order for 1,000 or more branded Bum Boxes by October 31 will receive an extra 100 free of charge.
