Reviews for the Best Brekkies on the Northern Beaches
Do you love breakfast? For many of us, it’s our favourite meal. But, what are THE best brekkies on the Northern Beaches? There are some great breakfast restaurants to recommend:
1. Sea Treasure Yum Cha, Crows Nest
46 Willoughby Rd
(02) 9906 6388
This place is by far the best Yum Cha in Sydney. OK, I have been around the block when it comes to Yum Cha, and there have been many favourites that have come and gone, but this one, remains perfect. The food is always so well prepared, hot and the typical YUM CHA yummy!
2. The Bower Restaurant, Manly Beach
7 Marine Pde (Cnr Bower)
(02) 9977 5451
I LOVE The Bower’s scrambled eggs with salmon, the servings are perfect and the food tastes superb. Plus, what better view for brekkie, than Australia’s best beach, Shelly Beach. You can’t get better in Sydney.

Breakfast in Manly? ♥ ♥ ♥ Review
Reader Review: Sugar Lounge, Manly, Northern Beaches
Breakfast is sweet at Sugar Lounge! It's Sunday morning, the sun is high and you're seeking a cure to the very hangover the able bartenders at Sugar Lounge concocted the night before. Time for strong coffee, Cinnamon Brioche French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Berry Mocktails & Bloody Mary's!
3. The Buddha Belly, Terry Hills
327 Mona Vale
(02) 9450 1504
This restaurant is a fabulous place to land for brekkie, there is a great range of food to select from and the thing that makes this place so special is the amazing Japanese garden that surrounds the place. The Buddha Belly is actually part of a garden centre that hosts the biggest Bonsai collection in Australia and some cute little stores; this is a great place, book ahead.

4. Pancakes On The Rocks – The Rocks
4 Hickson Rd, The Rocks, Sydney
Trading Hours: 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS A WEEK
Phone: 02 9247 6371
Email: therocks@pancakesontherocks.com.au
Well, just a ferry ride across to a formidable feast. The famous Pancakes On The Rocks is right in the heart of The Rocks, and is home to some of the fattest pancakes you will ever see! And boy, they are good! Have a morning adventure, then spend the day wandering through the wonderful markets.
5. ZEST Cafe – Balgowlah
334 Sydney Rd, Balgowlah
(02) 9948 8499
Not everyone has heard of ZEST, but those that have, are regulars. The warm smile behind the coffee grind and daily joke relaxes and reminds you everyone is human. The place is not spectacularly set with marble chairs, but they cook bloody good scrambled eggs, and BIG brekkie. The coffee is also some of the best in Sydney, always perfect.
6. The Freshwater Club – Freshwater
19a Lawrence St
(02) 9905 0555
A new kid on the block. They aim to be the best for food and coffee in Freshie. Check em out.
