Renault Sydney Reloaded
Renault, the world's fourth largest car manufacturer with some of the world's best safety credentials has been awarded more 5 star safety ratings than Mercedes and Volvo combined. With an incredible new line-up, Sydney Australians are gearing up for an exciting European inspired ride!
Have you ever been holidaying in Europe? If you rented a car, there is very good chance it was a Renault. Renault is the second most popular car in Europe, and its popularity stakes are on the rise in Sydney, Australia.
It could be said that Renault has had an image problem in Oz – maybe seen as a “quirky European car’, although many have argued Renault has been ahead of their time (Clio Sport anyone?). Those who own Renaults love them, but at least here they didn’t appear on the radar to the masses. This changed in Australia last year with the launch of the exceptional Renault Koleos.
Renault Koleos
In an already crowded SUV market Renault managed to launch a stand-out. Its perfect for the family, great if you are sporty, has supermodel good looks and is gorged with standard features.
Plus, what a price point. Oh and if you want to drive around Australia no problem for the Renault Koleos (click here for a real life Koleos around Oz adventure.)
I may sound slightly biased. I am. I am a Renault Koleos owner, and I love that car. My husband loves it. We bore our friends about it. I wave to other Koleos owners as I pass who smile back at me, smug in the knowledge that they are driving the best car around.

For a complete view on why I love my Koleos click here. Be warned this is a girl's view – so it is full of the little niceties like my chilled glovebox, abundant storage hidey-holes and how its easy on my girl arms to drive.
If you want all the boy stuff like engine/power/torque follow this link to the Technical Specifications for the Koleos 2.5.
Renault Megane
Renault continue their assault on mainstream, with the launch of their new rejuvenated Megane, which is a stunning entrant into the small hatch arena. It was time for change with the new Renault Megane being a large shift from the previous model, which may be remembered for a quirky design. The new Renault Megane is now a car that people will look at and like a lot. Mirroring other Renault models, it is packed with standard features that are usually reserved for the prestige end of the market – so you have 5 star safety features, Integrated Sat nav, auto headlights/ wipers, multimedia connection box, this list goes on. Renault Kangoo
The Renault Kangoo has always been a very popular small van – perfect for florists to tradies, and the new Bigger! Better! Smarter! Kangoo is here in September. For those of you who use it to pick up pallets, the new Renault Kangoo has a higher payload (800kg) which means less back and forth loading and unloading and can now fit Chep or Europallets in with ease – and either way – which makes it much easier on your workday.
I like the thought put into the owner operators day when designing the new Renault Kangoo – like the central storage area that holds your A4 folder and a pen, or the doors that hold 1.5l bottles for long days on the road or the well thought out lighting in the loading area. There is a lot more to love about the new Renault Kangoo,
We gave the new Kangoo to our florist to test drive and review.

Renault Fluence
Renault continues its over-achievement with new model Renault Fluence (pretend you’re French when you say it) which is the replacement for the Megane sedan. Like all other new Renault’s it is packed with standard features, which translates to great value for your hard earned dollars – with a price point in the late $20k’s. This mid-size sedan will appeal from families through to retirees, and rounds out a fantastic new model range for Renault.
This is a complete rejuvenation for Renault and is sure to mean you will see a lot more Renault’s driving past you, and Renault will be something you add to your next car shopping list.
