All things surfing, for all age groups.
With vast numbers of fashion-conscious surf stores popping up all over the Northern Beaches, it's refreshing to find one doing things a bit differently.
Heritage Surf, on the corner of Darley Road and Victoria Parade, Manly, is all about bringing surfing back to its roots.
Chatting with store owner Chris Moss, one can’t help but feel a wave of nostalgia for the single-fin, chilled-out days our forefathers enjoyed. His vision is for a store that encourages anyone, regardless of age or gender, to enjoy surfing for the ocean experience.
Surf music, memorabilia, books and DVD’s line the shop floor to ceiling. There are photos from the ’64 World Champs at Manly, as well as large framed prints from photographers Hugh McLeod, Jack Eden, David Pu-u and Gary Birdsall.
Heritage Surf Manly's stock of surfboards include both old and new designs for all shapes and styles of surfing. From single-fin, full-balsa long boards, to fish, eggs and hybrids. Their clothing stock comprises iconic surf brands such as Okanui, Wrangler, and Reyn Spooner Traditional Hawaiian Shirts.

“There are a lot of surfers who aren’t being catered for by most surf stores. We’re here to fill that gap”, says Chris.
No matter what you’re age, if you’re into surfing, or have friends or family that are, Our Manly recommends you pop in and say hi to the friendly crew at Heritage Surf Manly.
