Robyn’s Nest Florist is the local florist specialising in flowers for weddings and affordable but unusual gifts for all occasions. Located in Allambie Heights on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the shop is owned by Lynne and David McGrath.

"We were married in March 2008, in the gardens of the Falls Function Centre at Oxford Falls. The reception was held at the same place, using their beautiful indoor function room.

I planned the wedding myself with the help of my family, and because of this, we were able to incorporate all of the aspects that we felt would make the day more personal and special for us.

Butterflies and pink were the themes of the wedding, and we released 50 butterflies into the gardens after our wedding ceremony to the delight of our guests. Everyone, including my husband and myself really enjoyed watching them flutter through the gardens and come to rest on the flowers around. I used Robyn's Nest florist for all of the wedding flowers and displays, and I was extremely pleased with the results when the flowers arrived on the day. The bouquets were absolutely exquisite and we got many positive comments from our friends and family on just how beautiful the flowers were.

Robyn's Nest is a small shop in my local community and knowing, from past experiences, that the flowers selected from there are always of the best quality and presentation, we decided that there was no other florist for us with for such an important occasion.

All of the team at Robyn's Nest were extremely helpful, reliable and professional, both on the day and during the lead up to the wedding. They went through all of the pictures of past wedding bouquets etc, that they had done to help make my selection easier, and they incorporated any of the ideas that I suggested to make our bridal bouquet just perfect.

We were even able to incorporate a few butterflies into the bouquets, as this was the theme for the day. I would highly recommend Robyn's Nest florist to anyone getting married; the flowers helped to make our day just perfect.
