Owen’s sister Tyler took out the women’s category with an amazing day for the Wright family.

Owen was working the crowd into a frenzy with his raw speed and array of new school manoeuvres. Wright opened up the final with an 8 point ride and from there he didn’t look back.

The four day event provided Manly with some unbelievable surfing from the world’s new generation of professional surfers.

The level of junior surfing now is incredible. They are doing some freaky airs and still keeping the big carving turns in their repertoires.

Although the waves were small, Manly provided some good weather and a fantastic atmosphere for the event.
