Two weeks ago I attended the Sea Eagles 2010 season launch at the famous Harbord Diggers. There were media reps. all over the place, either hoping for a repeat of the doomed 2009 launch or there to report on the difference a year makes… (not sure which – Channel 9’s Danny Weidler seemed genuinely disappointed there wasn’t any blood spilt on the carpet) ...
So the season's over and from a Manly fan's point of view, it couldn't have come quickly enough. Apart from flashes of brilliance it was a season to forget ... in many ways ... finishing 5th was an over-performance ...
