What’s On Your ‘Bucket List’?
Have you always wanted to invent something? To cross the desert on a camel? To marry a stranger in Vegas?
Everyone has at least one thing they have to do before they die.
Some even have a list. But how many goals and dreams on this list are actually achieved?
At the ripe-old age of 26, Sebastian Terry realised that, like most people, he has not achieved anything on his long-forgotten list. So, in the spirit of the hollywood hit The Bucket List, Sebastian decided to put pen to paper and re-create his list of 100 Things. His goal? To tick off everything.
The loss of a close friend, combined with a naturally abstract view on life, sparked a moment of clarity. “Individually, not all of the items on my list are imperative to my wellbeing or satisfaction, but combined they write a code, and set a standard by which I now chose to live,” says Sebastian.
Overwhelmingly, says Sebastian, his website has received a huge amount of interest globally. “The journey seems to resonate with everyone and I really feel like there is a really important message hidden within my journey. Complete strangers email me for advice, to share their own dreams, and even to thank me for helping them chase their dreams!”
This is the start of a crazy, no holds barred adventure that will see Sebastian travel to the ends of the earth on a quest to live his dreams and achieve his ultimate goal, self fulfilment. As part of his journey Sebastian has chosen to combine his quest with raising money for Camp Quality, the children’s family cancer charity that brings optimism and happiness to children and families affected by cancer through fun therapy. He is looking for sponsorship of $100 per item on the list- potentially raising $10,000 for Camp Quality, which will send 12 families on camp.
On behalf of every red-blooded person scared of aging, and afraid to follow their dreams, Sebastian boldly attempts to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of not just himself, but people everywhere.
From visiting an inmate on Death Row, to performing stand-up comedy and appearing on a game show, “100 Things” takes you on an epic adventure around the world as Sebastian makes sure he hits his thirties with no regrets.
The site is a humorous, action packed adventure dedicated to anyone who's ever worried about their age, or dreamt about living every day like it was their last.
