Manly Markets Gourmet Produce

Manly locals now have beachside access to some of the freshest gourmet produce available; the weekly Manly Markets has extended its offerings to include a regular Farmer's Market.

From Saturday February 14, Manly locals will have beachside access to some of the freshest gourmet produce available; with the announcement that the weekly Manly Markets is extending its offer to include a regular Farmers Market.

From Paddock to plate, foodies can now indulge in handpicked produce and gourmet delicacies including organic fruit and vegetables, quality cheeses, olive oils and fresh flowers direct from local farmers and fresh food makers.

An initiative of Manly Council, the Manly Markets have diversified in response to a growing call from locals interested in buying fresh produce direct from farmers, growers and food makers.

Adjoining the regular Market, the Manly Farmer's Market is located in the heart of Manly’s CBD at Short Street Plaza.

Manly Markets Manager, Malcolm Larri said the Farmer's Market is a welcome addition to the regular Market and will complement the existing boutique retail environment along Sydney Road.

“The market expansion to include the weekly Manly Farmer's Market now means Manly locals and people from across the Northern beaches can purchase fresh food and seasonal produce direct from local farmers,” said Mr Larri.

“I’m confident the Manly Farmer's Market will soon become a Saturday morning shopping ritual where shoppers can chat face-to-face with growers and become more informed about their produce firsthand.”
