Miss Mona Vale 2009

Terms & Conditions of Contestant Entry:

1.0 Amateur Entrants

We are seeking up to 12 amateur entrants to contest the Miss Mona Vale 2009 Crown.
You must be of 18 years of age to enter.
The successful 12 amateur entrants will be invited to participate in the Miss Mona Vale 2009 heats at the Mona Vale Hotel on April 30, May 7 and May 14. Successful entrants will participate in Catwalk events in eveningwear, sponsor themed wear and swimsuit.
Those making it in to the live final will need to attend on May 21 for a chance to win major prizes including the face of Aroma Ki 2009 VIP Beauty Member & Photographic prize and the Pure Blonde $1000 Cash Prize.
Online entry is strictly in a swimsuit format. We will not accept evening wear, lingerie or other formats for image entry. However, the live event heats and finals do include other catwalk categories.
All images submitted are subject to the approval of the organisers before they will be displayed on the Our Manly website. Our Manly reserves the right to exclude and remove any entry from the competition at any time for any reason whatsoever.

1.1 Portrait Submission:

Each model may submit one or two images.
Photos may be colour or black & white in portrait or landscape format.
Your photos should be of a 300 dpi RGB JPG or JPEG file. Photos outside these specifications will be accepted, but may be cropped and adjusted to comply with these specifications.
Our Manly will verify, to the best of its ability, that images submitted are both a) submitted by the photographic image's subject and competition entrant or b) with the photographic image's subject express persmission, on their behalf, and with this subject's full intention to complete all phases of the competition should they be voted and invited to continue further rounds of competition. Any breaches of these entry processes may result in automatic disqualification of entry and removal of entry from the Our Manly website.

1.2 On-Line Entry at www.ourmanly.com.au

You agree that the following terms and conditions apply to your participation in the ‘Ms Mona Vale 2009' On-line Model Competition on www.ourmanly.com.au and Live Events, to be held at the Mona Vale Hotel, between 1 March 2009 and May 21 2009.

Entry is Free
Each model may submit one or two photographic entries. One photographic entry only will be selected for display and voting on the Our Manly portal. If you have a priority photographic entry please only submit one image.
Online entry closes at 5pm on Sunday 10th May 2009.
All submitted model photographic images are subject to approval before they will be displayed on the Our Manly website.
The top online model entrants as voted for, both in terms of volume and rank of online vote, by the Public, will be considered for entrants in the live events at the Mona Vale Hotel, by the organisers.
The organisers and judge’s decisions in all respects will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

1.3 Copyright

Copyright of any photographic image/ portrait submitted as an entry remains with the author or copyright owner. The competitor/ photographic image subject is solely and completely responsible for ensuring that they are the copyright owner of the image on any third parties intellectual property rights, image rights, or the rights of privacy or publicity of any third party. This includes text, data, photographs, graphics or any other materials.
By submitting the photographic portrait image entry, the copyright owner gives Our Manly, the Mona Vale Hotel, Pure Blonde, Aroma Ki & all Prize Partner Entities, express permission to reproduce, communicate and display their photographic entry to the public on http://www.ourmanly.com.au/ms-mona-vale-2009-browse.aspx. (By entering via the Our Manly online entry process, via Triumph Model Agency, The Mona Vale Hotel, or via email, you grant express permission and assure us you are the owner of the photographic image submitted and its subject). Our Manly and all partner entities may also publish any photographic portrait images entrants supply in any publication/ internet site/ other public media channel for the purpose of image reproduction, communication, publicity or sponsorship.
Our Manly reserves the right to edit or crop images for the purposes of promotion and publicity on the internet, television, city events and other media material formats.

1.4 The final 12 amateur entrants will be selected in accordance with the following criteria:

Their photographic image entry is in accordance with Submission Criteria.
The entry complies with all theme, submission, terms and conditions and copyright requirements as explained above.
The model, by entering, has agreed with and abided by the all the above Terms and Conditions.
